Holy Cross Day, also known as The Exaltation of the Holy Cross, falls on the 14th of September each year.  It ranks as a dominical feast day, and, in it original form, celebrated the finding of the true cross of our Lord in Jerusalem by Saint Helena, mother of the Emperor Constantine.  This date falls on Tuesday this year, and we will joyfully celebrate it in its fullness.  There will be a Vigil Vespers on Monday, September 13th, at 6:00 pm.  On the feast day, itself, the customary round of Offices will be offered at the usual, scheduled times concluding with a High Mass at 6:20 pm.  There will be a parish Dine-out to round out the celebration, for those who wish to participate.
